The advantages of the Ender technique over the other methods of treatment of pertrochanteric fractures have been emphasized by several authors. Generally the fracture is stabilized with three to five rods. Since the first post-operative period early rehabilitation is motivated. This technique has been used for weak patients with stable fractures making possible a fast and less traumatic osteosynthesis.
