Technique for fixation of two and three part proximal humeral fracture , tension band with one or two screws , “parachuting system”. The authors introduce a new technique for surgical treatment of two and three part proximal humeral fractures. This method consists of an intramedullary tension band , linking the proximal fragments of the fracture to the umeral shaft with two ethibond threads nº 5 , and one or two maleolar screws, producing a stable synthesis with litlle injury to the soft tissues and the advantages that it does not be removed. The final shape of the synthesis resambles an open parachute.
