Fractures of the tibial plateau are common and can show different configurations. The success of the fixation using canulated screws depends basically on the patient–ð s selection, correct surgical technique and well performed postoperative rehabilitation program. It is described a surgical technique that presents good results in treatment of depression fractures of the lateral plateau (types I and II of Schatzker).
